The fourth — and likely final — installment of DreamWorks Animation's Shrek franchise pulled in $43.3 million, raising its domestic total to $133.1 million, while the Sex and the City sequel came in second with $32.1 million for the Friday to Sunday weekend.

With its $14.2 million debut on Thursday, Sex and the City 2 has hauled in $46.3 million — down from the first film, which brought in $56.8 million on its opening weekend.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, debuted with $30.2 million, rounding out the top three movies for the holiday weekend.
