Meet Miles Scott: The 5-Year-Old 'Batkid' Who Saved San Francisco

He's only five years old, but on Friday, a tiny superhero named Batkid saved the city of San Francisco from not one, but three nefarious plots. With the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and thousands of volunteers throughout San Fran, young leukemia survivor Miles Scott got the chance to fight crime as a masked superhero alongside his hero, Batman. As reported by Fox News, Scott saved a woman stuck on the cable car tracks, stopped the Riddler from robbing a bank, and rescued the Giants mascot from the clutches of the Penguin. READ: Which Actor Was the Best 'Man of Steel'? For his efforts, Scott was granted a key to the city by San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee and later lauded by Batmen past and present, including Michael Keaton, Christian Bale and Ben Affleck. President Obama also jumped in with a video shout out: "Way to go, Miles. Way to save Gotham." Want to see Batkid in action? Check out the slideshow below for a look at his amazing feats.
