Justin Bieber has been charged with one count of misdemeanor vandalism after allegedly egging his neighbor’s home earlier this year, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The singer was not be present for the arraignment on Wednesday at Superior Court in Van Nuys.
In January Bieber’s neighbor in Calabasas claimed that he and his daughter videotaped Bieber throwing eggs at their house. Sheriff's investigators searched Bieber's Calabasas home on Jan. 14 searching for evidence in the case and arrested one of the singer's friends on felony drug possession charges. Surveillance footage seized from Bieber's home appears to show the pop star high-fiving friends and celebrating after throwing eggs at his neighbor's home earlier that month.
Neighbors in the upscale community had complained repeatedly about the pop star, accusing him of hosting loud parties and driving recklessly in their posh gated community.
This incident isn’t the only legal drama for the “Never Say Never” singer. The Grammy-nominated singer faces two other cases in Florida and Toronto.
