Forbes Releases List of Top-Earning Dead Celebrities

Forbes.com just released their list of the top-earning dead celebrities for 2013, and Michael Jackson handily took the top spot.  READ: The Forbes List of Hollywood's Most Bankable Stars According to their analysts, Jackson earned $160 million dollars between June 2012 and June 2013. Most of the money comes from two Jackson-themed Cirque du Soleil shows ("Immortal" and "One") and his co-ownership of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, which owns the publishing rights to an enormous catalog of music including songs by The Beatles, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.
