FOX411: How did you become a GUESS girl and how did you find out you landed the job? Two and a half years ago, I got to meet Paul Marciano. I showed him my book, and he told me I should do a test shoot for Guess. I ended up booking one shoot and even was featured in a magazine. Later, I thought that I fit the Guess look, but it came down to simply finding the right momentum and right strategy of action. So, my team and I ended up organizing a whole shoot with Collin Stark. We came up with about 15 images, and eventually presented them to Paul Marciano. After a period of agonizing waiting, we got an e-mail from Guess that we had booked the 2011 lingerie shoot. FOX 411: Who's the first person you told when you got the news? Because the process happened over more than two years, I kept on telling about my dream to my close friends and family. They all knew I wanted it very much, and they wanted it with me - naturally my family were the first to learn about it.![Julia_Guess_two_piece]()
FOX 411: Who's your previous favorite Guess girl and why? My favorite girl is one of the latest, Irina Shayk. Tall, curvy , sensual with a touch of mystery. But, if I had my dream Guess girl pick , it would be Sophia Loren in her 30s. No one has matched her curves and unique beauty ever since.![Julia_Guess_teddy]()
FOX 411: What's your favorite piece of Guess lingerie? My favorites are the lacy sets of lingerie. I also love the garter belts and corsets. It gives and instant sensuality boost.![julia_guess_side]()
FOX 411: Which one do you think is the sexiest? On me, I found the lacy push-up bra with little string thong the sexiest! Less is more!![Julia_Gues_black_on_white]()
FOX 411: Who should buy lingerie: a woman, or a man for a woman? I really think there are few sexier things than a man buying lingerie for the woman he loves. But she should at least be his girlfriend in my view. Because some men start sending women lingerie when they barely know even know her. That's such a turn-off ! It gives the idea that he is more interested in seeing her naked than getting to know her. So, only husbands, fiances and boyfriends should buy their ladies lingerie.![Julia_Guess_fall_2011_no2]()
FOX 411: Any advice for a guy who wants to buy his lady lingerie but is embarrassed? There is no reason for a man still to feel uneasy in the GUESS lingerie section. If anything he should feel proud. Women who shop in the store welcome men there and wish they had a guy buying sexy pieces for them. But if he wants to be discreet, he can always shop online! FOX411: What would you like to tell Paul Marciano? I can't thank him enough! I respect him and his brother Maurice so much! These men created a Guess empire. They made a hugely successful clothing company timeless and create timeless images of beauty and sexiness to represent their brand.
