David Beckham Hangs Up His Cleats (and Takes Off His Shirt)

It's a sad day for soccer fans. More specifically, David Beckham fans. The superstar midfielder has announced that he will retire from professional play. The 38-year-old is currently in the French league for Paris Saint-Germain. He and wife Victoria moved their family across the pond after spending several years in the U.S. where Beckham played for the L.A. Galaxy. According to the Daily Mail, Beckham will continue to act as an ambassador for the sport that made him a global star.
