    Calum Hood

5 Seconds of Summer bassist Calum Hood learned to never post a revealing video to Snapchat. The 18 year old shared a nude vid on the app and it almost immediately went viral. Though the pop star's face was never shown in the video, Hood owned up to his mistake tweeting, "I'm still just a teenage kid learning from mistakes."

    Jennette McCurdy

'iCarly' star Jennette McCurdy sent a picture of herself in her skivvies to someone who went and put it on the Internet. McCurdy seemed to finger an ex boyfriend with this tweet: "To anyone disappointed: I sent those pics to 1 person. You can connect the dots. Shocked someone would stoop so low. I just speak w/ candor." Now McCurdy's ex is NBA star Andre Drummond, but he has gone on the record to say he's not to blame. So whodunnit? We dunno.

    Dylan Sprouse

Former Disney star Dylan Sprouse, left, was quick to admit that he made a mistake when nude pictures of him leaked (and spread like crazy) on Twitter.  Celebs just can't seem to get a handle on technology. Click through for more of stars' tough interactions with tech.  (Reuters)

    Shiri Appleby

A totally nude, self-taken photo of Shiri Appleby began circulating online right around the time the actress was set to make a topless appearance on the HBO show "Girls." Was the leak intentional or just another case of a bad celebrity run-in with technology?  (Reuters)

    Kris Jenner

In 2012, Kris Jenner gained a lot of attention when she tweeted a sexy photo of herself in a Wonder Woman costume. What the 56-year-old failed to notice was that her top showed off a little more than she had planned. "Jeeeez what's all the fuss about?!!! It's just an innocent nip slip, happens to the best of us," she later wrote. (Reuters)

    John Mayer

Soon after posing all lovey dovey at the 2009 Academy Awards, John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston broke up, reportedly due to his obsessive tweeting, of which the hyper-private Aniston most assuredly did not approve.

    Adrienne Bailon

In November 2008, racy photos of Cheetah Girls singer Adrienne Bailon (center) were taken off then boyfriend Rob Kardashian's laptop. At the time, Bailon said she'd seek damages from whoever leaked the photos. Her publicist later said the whole thing was a hoax to get Bailon some publicity. She did get attention, but the wrong kind. The Cheetah Girls also got dumped from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Oops.

    Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow launched the website GOOP.com in 2008 and was ridiculed for it. Why? Well, she seemed a bit...strange, judging from the posts on the site."This newsletter really needs very little by way of introduction. I am interested in spiritual disciplines within different religions and schools of thought. I thought it would be inspiring to periodically ask a question to a group of thinkers from various traditions on the subjects that often confound me." Like why your husband Chris Martin wears those awful outfits in Coldplay? That one confounds us.

    Vanessa Hudgens

In 2007, a nude photo Vanessa Hudgens took and sent with her cell phone landed, where else, on the Internet! Hudgens apologized but, for a while there, it looked like Disney might dump its most promising star. Embarrassed, stressed, and exposed. Bad cell phone, bad!

    Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus took sexy cell phone photos of herself pulling up her shirt and showing her belly button. She was 15 when she did it. She was a Disney star when she did it. Oops.

    Chace Crawford

"Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford dumped country superstar Carrie Underwood with a text message. Big mistake, Chace!

    Chris Brown

Chris Brown and Rihanna's altercation before the 2009 Grammys reportedly resulted from a text message Brown received from an ex-lover.

    Rosie O'Donnell

Rosie O'Donnell went through a blogging phase where just about every day, the world was greeted by a new Rosie haiku, usually penned late at night. Here's a blast from the past, a 2007 haiku to then "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul. "right now / paula abdul would yell action / and the result would be / what we all see. there r times / u r so broken / fragile / pain filled / love less / desperate / raw / vulnerable / so needy for love ... hey paula / we cringe / at r selves / thru u." Robert Frost she ain't!

    Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton had her own cell phone meltdown in 2006 when somebody hacked her Sidekick, got all of her friends' email addresses and phone numbers, and circulated them on the Internet. Celebrities should all go back to paper and pencil and the good old U.S. Postal Service.

    Brad Pitt

"I don't really know how to operate a computer," Brad Pitt once told Newsweek. Finally, a celebrity who knows his limits. Smart, very smart.
