Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler's rep finally confirmed the rocker's engagement to his long term girlfriend Erin Brady over the Christmas holidays, TMZ reported Monday

Brady, 38, was spotted wearing a large five-carat diamond and platinum ring as the couple spent Christmas Day on the Hawaiian island of Maui.

Celebrity jeweler Loree Rodkin confirmed she made the ring and revealed her clients' wedding plans to UsMagazine.com.

"Having made Steven's jewelry for so many of the past years, it was an honor to be part of his future… with all my love to Steven and Erin," Rodkee said.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey broadcast on the talk show diva's OWN network Sunday night, Tyler -- who has been married and divorced twice before -- said he could remain monogamous with Brady, despite his rocker lifestyle and reputation.

"There was some behavior I am ashamed of and I shouldn't have done," Tyler said. "I don't want to hurt anybody again. For all the divorces I've had I've hurt those girls deeply."

It is not clear whether the "American Idol" judge proposed before or after their Christmas vacation, but Tyler's family are reportedly furious about the news as they do not like Brady, according to the gossip site.

Some of the rocker's relatives are allegedly upset that the 63-year-old singer did not tell them he planned to pop the question until after the proposal.

Several members of the Tyler family have apparently clashed with Brady in the past, with one source previously telling TMZ, "She's just been mean to the family."
