Ford took the most honors in the 2010 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Picks report, with six vehicles from its various brands earning the highest ratings, while Subaru and Volkswagen each placed five cars on the list. Chrysler made a strong showing with four cars and SUVs earning top marks, while GM crashed the party with two.
