*Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network live are only available through authorized cable, satellite, and telco subscription packages.

How do I download the Fox News Android Application?

The Fox News Android application can be downloaded in Google Play, available on all Android phones with software version 4.0 and up.

Does the Fox News Android application cost anything?

Fox News does not charge for the application at this time. Please note that in the absence of a Wi-Fi connection, the Fox News application for Android uses your phone's cellular network connection to access and download content. Please check with your carrier to see if you will be charged for usage.

Can I read the news offline or in Airplane Mode?

Yes, you can read the latest news from the last time your device was connected to the Internet.

Please note that you cannot stream video offline. However, you can stream video in Airplane Mode if you are connected to Wi-Fi.

Can I watch Fox News Channel on the application?

Yes, Fox News Channel can be streamed live through the Fox News App. Users will need log in with authorized cable, satellite, or telco provider credentials to stream Fox News live.

To stream Fox News live, tap on 'Live TV' from the Menu, and then tap the 'Log In' button located in the right corner. Then select your cable provider and enter login credentials.

Watch/Browse Feature

In addition to streaming Fox News Channel live and watching video, version 2.0 allows users to read news articles while they watch Fox News content in portrait mode.

How do I use the Watch/Browse Feature?

  1. Tap on any video related content, or login with your authorized cable, satellite, or telco provider credentials to stream Fox News Channel live.
  2. Video will appear in the top portion of the screen, allowing you to browse through other Fox News content.

What if I do not want the video to take up half of the screen?

The Watch/Browse experience allows you to adjust the size of the video player.

To adjust the size of the video player:

  1. Tap once on the video.
  2. Tap on the arrows to adjust the player size.

Please Note: The smallest size plays audio only.

What if I want to close the video?

  1. Tap once on the video.
  2. Tap on the 'x' icon in the upper left-hand corner to close the video.

Please Note: When in audio only view, you must maximize video player to quarter view to close video.

Can I watch video clips from previous Fox News Channel Shows on the application?

Yes, on-demand video clips are available for all Fox News programming.

To access on-demand video clips from your favorite FNC shows, tap 'Shows' from the Menu to view a complete list of Fox News Channel programs. Then select a show to browse the most recent clips.

Can I email my favorite show or host?

You can find a show's email, Facebook, Twitter and more by visiting the show page.

What is the breaking news hub?

The breaking news hub is a dashboard containing breaking news alerts. The breaking news hub can be accessed by tapping on the breaking news alert icon, located in the top right corner of the app.

How do I clear all breaking news alerts in the breaking news hub?

  1. Open the Fox News app and tap on the Breaking News icon.
  2. Tap 'Clear All' in the left corner.

How do I turn on Breaking News alerts?

  1. Open the Fox News app.

The articles and videos appear to be outdated - How can I refresh the content?

You can update the content by pulling down from the top of the page.

How do I change the font size?

To change the font size, click into an article and tap on the Tt icon in the header bar. Then drag the slider to your preferred size. The font size you choose will be applied to all articles in the app.

How do I set the weather to my local area?

  1. In the main Menu of the Fox News app, select Weather.
  2. Tap the Search button and type in your City or Zip Code.
  3. Select your location from the list results.

Where can I listen to Fox News Radio?

The Fox News Radio component of the previous version of the Fox News app is no longer available in version 2.0. You can listen to Fox News Radio by downloading the Fox News Radio app, available in Google Play.
