Kingdom Tower will be the centerpiece of the Kingdom City development on a 5.3 million-square-meter site in north Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Kingdom Tower complex will contain 59 elevators, including 54 single-deck and five double-deck elevators, along with 12 escalators.
The building's sky terrace, roughly 98 feet in diameter, will be featured on level 157.
The 23-hectare Kingdom Tower Waterfront District will feature residential and commerical buildings, a shopping mall, outdoor spaces and other amenities.
The district encompasses a high-end shopping mall, plus additional development parcels that accommodate commercial and high-density residential uses, offices, two luxury hotels and high-quality open spaces, including the central Tower Plaza.
A serene waterfront promenade will connect Kingdom Tower, the various development parcels, the open space areas and the mall together.
Each of Kingdom Tower's three sides will feature a series of notches that create pockets of shadow that shield areas of the building from the sun and provide outdoor terraces with stunning views of Jeddah and the Red Sea.
Kingdom Tower will measure at least 3,280 feet high and will be located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where it will outdo its Gulf neighbor Dubai, which inaugurated its own record-breaking skyscraper -- the 2,717-foot Burj Khalifa -- less than two years ago. The tower's final height remains a closely guarded secret, though it will be at least 568 feet taller than the $1.5 billion Burj Khalifa, designers say.
