Former Boxing Champ Commits Suicide, Police Say
Former boxing champ Edwin Valero committed suicide in his jail cell on Monday just hours after he was arrested in his wife's killing, police said.
- April 18, 2010: Champion Venezuelan boxer Edwin Valero walks after being arrested in a police station in Valencia, west of Caracas. Valero admitted killing his wife and was arrested on Sunday, police and judicial authorities said.
