Indonesian police say they have arrested a New Zealand woman for allegedly possessing illegal drugs in a raid on the resort island of Bali.
Chief of Bali's anti-drug police Capt. Agus Tri Waluyo said Friday that 37-year-old Leeza Tracey Ormsby was arrested on Feb. 12, after police raided a villa near popular Kuta beach where she was staying.
Police said that a marijuana cigarette and 27 grams of hashish tablets and 132 grams of MDMA, or Ecstasy pills, were found in her villa.
Police are still investigating to determine whether she was a user or a drugs dealer. Her Indonesian lawyer, Ary Soenardi, says his client was not a dealer.
Indonesia has extremely strict drug laws, and traffickers are regularly sentenced to death.
