France: 3 killed following attack near Paris, child rescued

PARIS – A spokesman for France's interior minister says that a police officer, a woman and their attacker have been killed following a stabbing outside of Paris.

The spokesman, Pierre-Henry Brandet, told reporters late Monday that police managed to rescue a child from the scene,

The attack occurred in Magnanville, about 35 miles (55 kilometers) west of Paris.
