Two young boys gleefully destroyed a piece of art at a museum in Shanghai last week while adults, presumed to be their mothers, filmed the incident.

Video of the scene captured by CCTV showed the children romping around while dismantling the dangling art piece at the Shanghai Museum of Glass, South China Morning Post reported.

The footage was shared online Tuesday and instantly sparked outrage. Some commenters called the children “brats,” while others blamed the adults for not disciplining them.

Artist Shelly Xue reportedly decided to leave her damaged art piece on display but changed its name from “Angel is Waiting” to “Broken.”

Meanwhile, the museum chose to turn the incident into a piece of art itself by playing the viral footage on loop on a display screen.
