Protesters are planning to gather at the border town of Alexandroupolis later Saturday and a march Sunday toward a 10.5-kilometer border fence built four years ago.

More than 60 people have died so far in Greek waters this year while trying to cross in poor weather conditions from Turkey to the Greek islands, most using dinghies and old wooden boats.

High winds on Saturday delayed plans by Coast Guard divers to search for bodies off the island of Kalymnos, where most of the people in Friday's accidents died.
