Classes are cancelled at two Quebec City area schools where some of the six Canadians killed in the attack in Burkina Faso over the weekend used to work.
The school board announced that both Jean-de-Brebeuf and Cardinal Roy high schools shut their classrooms Monday, and support services are being offered.
Four of the victims, all from Quebec, were members of one family, and the other two were acquaintances.
Up to 32 people were killed when al-Qaida linked terrorists stormed a hotel in the African country's capital of Ouagadougou late Friday.
The family members, along with the two other Quebecers who were killed, were on a humanitarian mission.
The board says two were teachers, another was an assistant principal before his retirement, and another had been an administrator at two elementary schools.
