JERUSALEM – There's been no letup in Israeli-Palestinian violence today.
Two Palestinians have died, including a woman Israeli police say had tried to ram a car into Israeli forces in the West Bank.
Police spokeswoman Luba Samri says a driver sped toward Israeli forces who were controlling rioting Palestinian youth in the village of Silwad north of Ramallah on Friday.
She says the Israeli police took cover and shot at the driver, who died on the scene.
The other Palestinian who died was a man who was shot by troops in clashes in the Gaza Strip. The military says the troops had opened fire on Palestinians attempting to breach the Gaza Strip's border fence with Israel.
