Swedish prosecutors have ordered the release of a 22-year-old man who had been held on suspicion of preparing "terrorist" crimes.

Deputy Chief Prosecutor Hans Ihrman says the man, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit terrorist offenses, should be released. He said Sunday the man is no longer suspected of any crime.

Earlier, prosecutors had demanded that Moder Mothama Magid should be detained while being investigated by Sweden's Security Service.

Magid was arrested Thursday by police at a refugee center in northern Sweden, a day after the Scandinavian country raised its terror alert to the second-highest level.
