Ukraine reports sniper attack on top prosecutor

MOSCOW – Ukrainian authorities say a sniper shot at the country's top prosecutor as he sat in his office, but that bulletproof glass prevented any casualties.

Prosecutor-General Viktor Shokin was in his office late Monday with several co-workers when three shots were fired, according to one of his deputies, Anatoliy Matios.

No arrests were reported.
