Police say Cooking gas cylinder blast kills 8 in Mumbai

A cooking gas cylinder blast killed at least eight people on Friday in a small hotel in Mumbai, police said.

Police officer Ramesh Dasal said the blast occurred in the Kurla West area of India's financial and entertainment capital.

Details were not immediately known and police were investigating.
