10 bodies found in clandestine graves on outskirts of Acapulco, Mexican officials say

Authorities in the southern Mexico state of Guerrero say they have found 10 bodies in clandestine graves on the outskirts of the Pacific beach resort of Acapulco.

State prosecutors spokesman Randy Suastegui said Monday that three women were among the dead. He said authorities have been examining the site since late Sunday.

Guerrero has been the site of many disappearances in recent years, including those of 43 students from a teachers college who the federal government says were killed and incinerated by a drug gang with complicity of local officials last September.
