Austrian media say a man drove his van into a crowd in downtown Graz, killing two persons and injuring several people.

Local police confirmed that the incident happened on Saturday but would not give any details or confirm the number of dead and injured persons.

Austrian public Television ORF said the man had been arrested and that police had sealed of the downtown area in the Graz, which is the second-largest city in Austria.
