Some foods are just made to be eaten with your hands, like hot dogs.

But British Prime Minister David Cameron prefers using a fork and knife.

Cameron, running for re-election, was spotted Monday eating a hot dog with cutlery during a campaign stop, drawing criticism on social media.

“David Cameron eats hot dog with ketchup, to show he's in touch with ordinary folk --- blows it by using a knife & fork,” quipped one Twitter user.

Bill de Blasio, the mayor of New York City, faced similar heat last year after using a fork and knife to eat pizza in Staten Island.
