Climbers have found a second mummified body in a glacier on Mexico's tallest peak.
The mayor of the town nearest the Pico de Orizaba volcano said Friday that a rescue team found the second body.
Mayor Juan Navarro in the town of Chalchicomula de Sesma said the team had been unable to free the corpses from the ice, and a helicopter may be sent up for another attempt.
Climbers found the first body early in the week with only the head and a hand sticking out of the snow.
On Thursday, they excavated further and discovered the hand actually belonged to another body that appeared to be embracing the first corpse.
Navarro said a third body may be found, because three climbers disappeared on the peak in a 1959 avalanche.
