Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is meeting with his radical left party's lawmakers to brief them on the pledges his government has made to European creditors in order to win a four-month extension to the country's international bailout.
The meeting, being held behind closed doors, comes amid increasing signs of rancor within Tsipras' Syriza party over the concessions made regarding the party's pre-election campaign pledges to abolish all bailout measures.
Greece cleared a major hurdle on Tuesday after the finance ministers of the other 18 eurozone countries approved a list of policy goals Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis sent to Brussels and granted the four-month extension. The list is being used as a starting point for the creation of new measures Greek parliament will have to vote into law.
