Minor accident in Kerry's motorcade in India; no injuries

Two cars in Secretary of State John Kerry's motorcade in India were involved in a minor traffic accident, including Kerry's, but there were no injuries.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the accident occurred Monday as Kerry's motorcade was headed to the airport in Ahmedabad, India.

The accident resulted in some damage to both cars, one of which was switched out, and the motorcade went on to the airport.

Kerry was in Ahmedabad for a long-scheduled appearance at an international investment conference, and to prepare for President Barack Obama's trip to India later this month.
