Militants killed in Israeli airstrike in Gaza as search for teens in West Bank continues

Palestinian officials say two people have been killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.

Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Kidra said they were killed in an explosion Friday.

Speaking anonymously in line with procedure, a Palestinian security official said a car carrying members of a militant group was hit in an Israeli airstrike.

The incident came as Israel's operation in search of three teens feared abducted in the West Bank entered its third week.

Earlier, Israel's military says it fired at Hamas targets in Gaza after an explosive device was deployed against troops on the border, causing no injuries. A Palestinian boy was seriously hurt in the fire.

Israel blames militant group Hamas, which controls Gaza, for the teen's abduction. It named its prime suspects on Thursday.
