Father Caught On Tape Encouraging His Son To Beat Up Classmate, Gets Arrested

The father of an 11-year-old boy who was caught on video encouraging his son to beat up a classmate on Staten Island was arrested.

Alberto Figueroa, 42, was charged on Tuesday with "acting in a manner injurious to a child younger than 17 years old."

In the cell phone video captured by students at P.S. 60, Figueroa is heard telling his son to punch the other boy.

"Right now. Punch him in the face. No, no. Turn around and do it again," said Figueroa.

The after-school fight between the 5th grade students at the Alice Austen School occurred on May 14.
