HAVANA – Two Colombian rebel groups say they are declaring an eight-day cease-fire that will be in effect during the country's presidential election.
The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia and the National Liberation Army issued a joint statement declaring the May 20-28 halt in fighting.
Colombia's presidential election is on May 25.
