South Africa elect to bat against Sri Lanka

South Africa's captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to bat in the first Twenty20 international against Sri Lanka in Colombo on Friday.

The Proteas have a chance to make amends in the three-match series after being trounced 1-4 in the one-day games.
