Police say woman sexually assaulted while waiting for Wimbledon tickets

A woman was sexually assaulted while she was camping out for Wimbledon tickets over the weekend, British police and a witness say.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attack, the BBC reports.

A witness said his wife told him that she heard a commotion as the victim, 34, was being attacked inside her tent early Sunday, the day of the men’s final. Another man tried to help her out after the attack, the witness said.

No charges have been announced.
