A British jury has found that an Angolan man who died while being deported was unlawfully killed by three British private security guards escorting him on the plane.

An inquest jury said Tuesday that 46-year-old Jimmy Mubenga was restrained with "unreasonable force" by three guards from security firm G4S after he attacked them aboard a British Airways flight to Angola in October 2010.

Mubenga was violently restrained by the guards as the flight taxied down the runway at London's Heathrow Airport. The plane stopped and he was taken to a hospital, where he died of cardio-respiratory collapse.

Britain's Crown Prosecution Service said it would reconsider its original decision not to charge the security guards.
