London fire brigade says it is responding to reports of helicopter crash near Thames

LONDON – London's Fire Brigade says it is responding to reports that a helicopter has crashed near the River Thames in London.

A photo shown on Sky News showed wreckage burning in a street.

Some witnesses reported that a helicopter had collided with a construction crane.

Large plume of black smoke is seen rising in the area, close to the Waterloo train station during the early morning rush hour.

There were no immediate reports on casualties.
