Montenegro train crash kills 2, injures 28

PODGORICA, Montenegro – Officials say a passenger train has crashed into a railway repair trolley in a tunnel in northern Montenegro, killing two people and injuring more than two dozen.

Railway official Zarija Franovic says the two people who died were railway workers standing on the repair trolley when it was hit Tuesday afternoon by the train connecting the towns of Mojkovac and Bijelo Polje.

Doctors at a nearby hospital say 28 other people sought medical help, including three who had serious injuries.
