Bosnian Serbs have called on the country's foreign minister to resign for instructing Bosnia's representative at the U.N. to support the latest General Assembly resolution condemning the Syrian regime.
Following Bosnia's 1992-1995 war, the country is run by a three-member presidency, made up of the former warring parties -- Bosniaks, Serbs and Croats -- and any major foreign policy decision has to be unanimous.
Bosnian Serb member of the presidency, Nebojsa Radmanovic, said Thursday that Foreign Minister Zlatko Lagumdzija has to resign because he did not consult the presidency before instructing the ambassador to support the vote.
Serbs often disagree with the pro-western Bosniaks and Croats on international matters, mostly because of their long-standing ties with Russia.
