A Chilean woman who found a bag with 15 million pesos or 30,000 dollars turned the cash into the authorities, the police said.
Patricia Tapia who accompanied her son to the ATM in Paseo Ahumada, in the Chilean capital of Santiago, noticed the small bag of money at the foot of the ATM machine.
When she noticed it was filled with cash, Tapia decided to call the police about her finding. A police spokesman told EFE, that “it was an honest gesture seldom seen in these times.”
