Rookie Rob Klinkhammer deflected in Brent Seabrook's shot from the right point with 5:20 left in the third period to help the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Minnesota Wild 4-3 on Friday night for their first preseason victory.
Patrick Kane scored his first two goals of the preseason, Colin Fraser also scored, and Tomas Kopecky had two assists for the Blackhawks (1-2-1).
Martin Havlat, the former Chicago player who led the Blackhawks with 77 points last season, had a goal and assist for the Wild (2-4-0). Havlat joined Minnesota as a free agent after the Blackhawks signed free-agent Marian Hossa from Detroit.
James Sheppard and Brent Burns also scored for Minnesota.
