Winning Point survived a foul claim Sunday to capture the $66,150 Am Capable Stakes for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
Winning Point was an easy winner, beating Lucky Revival by 4 1/2 lengths. The suspense came after the race as the stewards considered, then rejected, an objection alleging first-turn interference lodged by Richard Migliore, the jockey on third-place Shining Sea.
Rajiv Maragh was aboard for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin. Winning Point earned her fourth win in 10 starts, the 5-year-old running the one mile in 1:39.63 on the fast track.
The 3-2 favorite, Winning Point paid $5, $3 and $2.40. Lucky Revival returned $3 and $2.20. Shining Sea paid $2.40 to show.
