"Impressionism," which stars Jeremy Irons and Joan Allen, has delayed its Broadway opening by nearly two weeks.

Producer Bill Haber says the play by Michael Jacobs about the relationship between a photojournalist and a gallery owner will now open March 24 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. It originally was set to open March 12.

Said Haber: "'Impressionism' is a world premiere on Broadway, which has not been workshopped or played out of town. We are working hard in previews and we need more time to get the show finished for the official opening."
