Jaques Lazier has found a home with Team 3G after a two-year absence from IRL racing.
The team recently signed Lazier as a midseason replacement for Stanton Barrett, and Lazier will try to pick up his second career win Sunday at the Iowa 250.
Lazier knows his seat in the No. 98 car isn't assured beyond this month, but that doesn't bother him. Lazier has spent nearly his entire IRL career as a vagabond driver.
Lazier says his role is to help develop the car so the first-year team can continue its growth.
