The Washington Capitals have signed defenseman Shaone Morrisonn and forwards Eric Fehr, Chris Bourque, Kyle Wilson and Steve Pinizzotto.

Morrisonn, Fehr, Bourque and Wilson were given one-year contracts Wednesday. Pinizzotto signed a two-year deal.

Morrisonn, who has played four full seasons with the Capitals, had three goals and 10 assists last season. Fehr, a 2003 first-round draft pick, spent his first full year with Washington last season, recording 12 goals and 13 assists. He split time between the Capitals and AHL Hershey the previous three years.

Bourque played in eight games for the Capitals last season and scored his first NHL goal on Dec. 30 at Buffalo. Wilson and Pinizzotto spent all of last season in the minors.
