Defenseman James Wisniewski has signed a one-year deal to stay with the Anaheim Ducks.

Wisniewski, who reached agreement with the team on Monday, was acquired by the Ducks from Chicago in a four-player trade in March.

The 25-year old Wisniewski had three goals and a career-high 21 assists in 48 games last season with Anaheim and Chicago. He added a goal and two assists in 12 games during the Ducks' playoff run to the second round.
