The New Orleans Saints have signed defensive tackle Rodney Leisle and brought back tight end Tory Humphrey, who was signed last week but then released before Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to Tampa Bay.

New Orleans also released cornerback Greg Fassitt and safety Herana-Daze Jones. Fassitt was re-signed to the practice squad.

Leisle was drafted by the Saints in 2004 but played little before his release in 2007. He has not appeared in a regular season game since but has spent time on the rosters of Arizona and the New York Giants.

Humphrey was a reserve tight end with Green Bay for the last four seasons.

Jones and Fassit both played on special teams in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay, which had a punt return for a score.
