A grand jury has re-indicted a former Kentucky high school football coach on an additional charge in the death of a player who collapsed at practice.

The indictment handed down Tuesday charges David Jason Stinson with wanton endangerment in the death of 15-year-old Max Gilpin, who died three days after collapsing in Louisville last August.

Stinson was already facing a reckless homicide charge in Gilpin's death. He has pleaded not guilty.

Stinson was first indicted on the wanton endangerment charge last week, but a judge dismissed it after his lawyers argued the grand jury was not told Stinson wanted to testify.

A judge ruled Tuesday that prosecutors could seek to re-indict him.

Stinson's trial is scheduled to begin Aug. 31.
