Signs of Child Ear Infection

Most ear infections of children over 2 will clear up on their own, experts say.
Symptoms:
_Unusual irritability
_Difficulty sleeping
_Tugging or pulling at one or both ears
_Fever
_Fluid draining from the ear
_Loss of balance
_Unresponsiveness to quiet sounds or other signs of hearing difficulty such as sitting too close to the television or being inattentive.
Treatment and advice:
_Tylenol, warm baths, comforting attention.
_See a doctor if a fever develops after a few days and the symptoms continue.
