11 people, including eight children, were hit by lighting in a Paris park amid stormy conditions on Saturday, officials said.
According to the Associated Press, the people struck sought shelter under a tree at the Park Monceau.
Six of the victims, including four children and two adults, were seriously injured, a Paris fire service spokesman told the AP.
"A few more showers and storms could move back into the city later tonight," AccuWeather Meteorologist Adam Douty said.
Douty added that thunderstorms will be less likely on Sunday, however periods of rain are expected.
