Dry and mild weather to build across Germany before late-week rain

High pressure building over the North Sea will supply dry and milder weather to all of Germany on Wednesday and Thursday.

Along with the dry air, each day will turn milder and feature at least some sunshine.

While the air will remain seasonably cool on Wednesday, less wind and more sunshine will make it feel milder than Tuesday.

High temperatures will range from 11-13 C (52-56 F) from Breman and Hamburg to Berlin and Dresden.

Temperatures will be slightly higher from Cologne to Stuttgart and Munich with highs reaching 14-16 C (57-60 F).

High pressure will remain in control on Thursday as dry weather continues and temperatures climb.

Despite sunshine mixing with clouds, it will feel quite mild from Dusseldorf to Stuttgart and Munich with afternoon temperatures ranging from 17-19 C (62-66 F).

Sunshine will prevail throughout the day in the north and east with high temperatures of 13-15 C (55-59 F) in Hamburg, Berlin and Leipzig.

The pleasant midweek weather will be replaced by cloudy, wet and cooler weather across southern Germany on Friday and Saturday.

Rainfall is possible for the Bundesliga match between Vfb Stuttgart and Dortmund on Saturday, while the other matches scheduled for this week will escape with dry weather.

In northern and central Germany, dry weather will hold on Friday and Saturday, but a drop in temperatures is forecast.
