Dry weather is expected across most of Germany during the middle of the week, providing several opportunities to get outdoors.
An area of high pressure over southern Scandinavia will supply drier air from the east into Germany and shield the country from any significant storms.
A storm will approach from the west on Wednesday; however, the strong area of high pressure will cause it weaken dramatically with just a bit of rain reaching areas near western border during the afternoon.
The light rain will end by Wednesday evening and not advance farther east, resulting in dry weather across the country Wednesday night.
Remaining dry on Thursday country-wide as high pressure remains in control. Along with the dry weather there will be partly sunny skies and seasonably mild air.
High temperatures will range 7-9 C (44-48 F) both Wednesday and Thursday from Hamburg to Berlin and Frankfurt to Munich. A few of the warmest spots in southern Germany will reach 10 C (50 F) on Thursday.
Dry and mild weather will continue across Germany from Friday into the weekend.
