Dallas: Cool, dry pattern to continue into 2016

Conditions will be cooler and drier to close out 2015 in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

The weather won't be an issue as the region continues to recover from the Dec. 26 tornadoes that ravaged the area.

It will be dry for the first weekend of 2016 but temperatures will be cooler than the average of 56 degrees F, AccuWeather Meteorologist Mike Doll said.

Tailgaters for the College Football Playoff semifinal between No. 3 Michigan State and No. 2 Alabama may want to bring a jacket as conditions will be cool on Friday. Temperatures will hover in the low 50s during the day.
